Jenny Eikre

"Hi everyone! I'm Jenny and I'm the new social media chair for the English Society. I'm an avid reader and writer who loves to listen to any music that comes out of a jukebox (especially Sir Elton John). I talk constantly about the little zoo in my house: my two cats, my rat, and my hedgehog. I take my Lipton tea with milk and sugar and I think that's the only correct way to take Lipton tea. "I'm excited to be an officer for the English Society and to bring joy to all of the literature and writing lovers across campus!

Shalini Jasti

"Hello, my name is Shalini (rhymes with Colony). I'm an English and Creative Writing and Secondary Education major and I'm the new Education Chair for English Society! When I'm not thinking about English Education, diverse literature, and becoming the next Secretary of Education, I like to play my saxophone and sing in Sigma Alpha Iota. I have an interesting obsession with mustard, worms, and pickles. I'm really excited to be a part of the English Society this upcoming year and I'm excited to meet all our new members soon."

Kate Struckman-Johnson

"My name is Kate and I am going to be the Event Manager this year! I’m majoring in creative writing and anthropology, with a certificate in museum studies. I tend to stress bake completely randomized dessert items, like egg custard, pancake bread, lemon-lavender shortbread, cornbread, and chocolate chip cookies. A book I can recommend at the moment is ‘Lovecraft Country.’ Feel free to contact me if you want to talk about how amazing alpaca farms and/or primates are. Let's see where online events take us this year!"
