Inspiration Series with Kaveh Akbar

Kaveh Akbar is the author of two poetry collections, a chapbook, and an upcoming novel, the poetry editor for The Nation, the editor of The Penguin Book of Spiritual Verse: 100 Poets on the Divine, the founder of Divedapper, and the recipient of multiple literary honors, just to name some of his accomplishments. He'll be joining us for the second installment of our Inspiration Series! For those who don't know, our Inspiration Series features conversations with UI faculty and staff where students can learn more about their lives and work. In a laid-back, casual Q&A setting, we get the chance to know our faculty and staff better as people. The conversation is often funny, often emotional, and always… inspiring!
