Spooky Scary Story Time

Our annual Halloween party! We’ll begin the evening with a costume contest, complete with prizes for best dressed. Then, what better way to celebrate All Hallows’ Eve than with scary stories? Bring your favorites or read from the selection we provide. And… 

We’re combining our Halloween Party with one of our most popular events of years past: the Juvenalia Reading! What could be scarier than those old notebooks filled with the writing attempts of our youth? The best way to conquer fear, though, is to face it, and have a good laugh along the way. Bring your best (and worst, especially your worst!) early writing from high school, middle school, or whenever, to share in the circle. Truly, it’s a lot of fun to see how far we’ve come. 

Pizza and other snacks will be provided, along with Halloween candy.
